GRM 2019 Announcement

The Gulf Research Center Cambridge is pleased to announce that the 2013 Gulf Research Meeting (GRM) will be held from 2-5 July 2013 at the University of Cambridge.

Building on the success of the past three GRM meetings since 2010, the fourth annual Gulf Research Meeting in 2013 aims to bring together a community of scholars and specialists working on the region to exchange views, present their research and enhance their understanding on topical issues related to the Gulf region.

More than 1200 leading academics, area specialists, policy practitioners and students have participated in the previous three events resulting in 38 workshops and more than 650 papers being submitted. Not only is this a valuable scholarly contribution to the literature on the region but the GRM has also stimulated increased involvement of people from the Gulf region itself. So far, about 50 percent of participants have come from the GCC countries themselves.

The Gulf Research Centre Cambridge intends to continue to develop the GRM so that it becomes the key annual meeting for scholars on the Gulf, facilitating planning for future projects and collaborative work and offering deeper insight into the issues facing the Gulf region.
